"Gold Weave" by Pat McNabb Martin measures 44 inches tall by 44 inches wide.
This piece hangs as a diamond and takes an undulating shape on the wall. Pat has designed art that lets itself freeform into a three-dimensional shape, which also houses all of the small tabs of canvas that she has affixed to the painting. She hand-cuts hundreds of strips of canvas, affixes them to her background canvases and uses a splatter painting technique to add color and movement to the work.
